I always evaluate the overall package and try to differentiate: Food: was okay, but the portions are sometimes quite small. A good eater could walk hungry. But it is original Bavarian. The menu is small and manageable. Prices: are in the upper range. In rural Bavaria you would have problems getting and keeping customers. Price-performance lags a little. Service: was warm, sometimes a bit disorganized, but nice. Ambience: typical Bavarian parlor. When we were there, the guest room was unfortunately completely overheated. Last but not least, why only 3 stars? Corona rules: practically zero - no data collected, the waitress does not wear a mask, the chef then sat down next to guests without a mask just before we left. Where we currently have almost 8000 new infections in Germany every day, that's a no go! We really didn't feel that way. Therefore only 3 stars, because the food was otherwise really ok. UPDATE: The owner's comment shows that he is not taking the pandemic seriously. Other restaurants in Brandenburg also manage to meet responsibility and wear masks, keep track of contacts and abide by the rules. This is not to stir up panic. It's reality. In general, you don't take suggestions negatively, but rather as constructive criticism. But for that one would have to have self-reflection. In general: I always judge fairly and weigh up, but it ends with the health of the individual.

A rustic, fantastic, delicious Bavarian cuisine !!!! The boss and head chef in one person, thank God, came to Zernsdorf from Bavaria and I'm going there especially from Berlin to delight my palate! : 0))) AND HAS HAS BEEN FOR 5 YEARS and today I'm finally writing it too

The dishes are delicious, there are large portions and the prices are very fair. We especially recommend the giant schnitzel for 14.90 € including fries or salad, because there are 3 (!) Large schnitzel per serving and it is certainly enough for 2 people. Otherwise, the ambience is quaint and cozy (inside like a typical Bavarian inn and outside like in the beer garden. The staff was also very friendly and although it was very busy, the dishes were quickly served. Very recommendable and very happy to come back.

My host mum took us here for and it was super delicious! I had the pork and crispy onions with potato rostis and gravy. So so good! Lovely big portions. Everything was perfectly cooked! My husband had the Bayern platter which was excellent also. He said the beer was excellent too. Definitely recommend!
